Samhain is the wise guide of the year’s turning, cloaked in earthy tones of orange, brown, and forest green, reflecting the fading light of autumn. She stands at the threshold between worlds, marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the darker half of the year. Known also as Alban Arthan, she is a timekeeper of cycles, reminding us of life’s eternal dance of death and rebirth. With reverence, she calls us to honor our ancestors, celebrate our accomplishments, and embrace transformation with gratitude.
Her scent is an offering to the spirits ~ sage for protection, patchouli for grounding, and smoky vanilla for the lingering warmth of candlelit rituals. Like the flickering flames of Samhain’s fires, Obsidian absorbs the shadows, while Bloodstone empowers and protects.
